Easy Guitar Songs are here! Watch and learn how to play using fun Guitar Lessons. FAQ

Why aren't chord charts printable?

Well, it's because our licensors won't let us allow you to print them. We are very sorry about this, but we are working on getting them to relax their restrictions, and we will make them available when we can!

Can I watch your videos using a dial-up connection?

Well, you can try, but you'll probably have to endure a choppy lesson experience. You are much better off using cable, DSL, or T1 internet connections. You can go to "Free Stuff" and test one out if you want to make sure before you commit to a purchase.

What are the minimum system requirements for viewing your videos?

If you have a high-speed internet connection, any computer that's not more than about 5 years old should work fine. You can view one of our free lessons to check before you buy anything.

How do I know my personal data and information are safe with you?

Check out our Privacy Policy link at the bottom of the page, and we'll explain the details. We really care about making sure you don't get any extra junk loaded onto your computer or extra ads sent to you. We want you to keep coming back, so we'll do everything we can to make sure your data is handled carefully.

How often do you add new videos to your site?

We plan to add a few Song Lessons and Technique Library Lessons each month once we get settled in, and we'll send you an email to announce them if you choose that option in your account preferences.

What if I decide I don't like the song lesson I buy?

As you might know, we are fully licensed and pay a fee to the big guys every time you complete a purchase. Because of that, we need you to be COMPLETELY sure you want to buy the lesson before you do it. There's no going back. To help you make the right choice, we've provided a 30-sec preview of the performance of each song lesson, and you can make sure you like the teaching style by combing through our Free Stuff and learning from our different teachers.

Will I still be able to access my account information if my 30-day viewing has expired?

Yes, you will be able to log in and do everything except view paid lesson videos.

My videos won't play. What should I do?

Make sure you have the Flash player installed and working properly. Version 9 or 10 would be best. Try going to this site to do a test: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/. If it doesn't work there, then follow Adobe's directions on installing, updating, or repairing Flash. Once it works there, try our videos again. If they still don't work, submit a tech support request and we'll get back to you in a day or two.

Is RhythmStrummer.com using these songs legally?

Yes, we put lots of time into getting our contracts created and settled, and we are grateful to Sony/ATV, Cherry Lane Music, MPL, EMI, Ice Nine, and Painted Desert for helping us make this project a reality. Additionally, we owe GREAT thanks to our beloved teachers and friends who have put their hearts and souls into bringing you all this musical education. If we weren't licensed, we wouldn't be able to guarantee that they get their well deserved portions of our income for the lifetime of our project.

When I make a purchase, do I own the song lesson videos?

No, technically you are renting access to our videos. We allow unlimited viewings of your particular purchase for 30 days, so you'll definitely get all the information you need.

Why do you only show a 30-second preview of song lessons and no preview of Technique Lessons at all?

Because we pay our licensors per view, we can only show a 30-second preview of each song, but we have some cool public domain stuff in our Free Stuff section if you just can't swing the $4.99 song lesson fee. The Technique Library lessons are short and we figure the titles tell you what you need to know in order to decide if it's a good buy. But again. there's plenty of Free Stuff to keep you busy, and you don't even need to create an account to view it!

My video isn't working very well. What are my options?

Well, first you should know that we are working VERY hard on our end to improve the video performance, and we expect significant changes sometime in August. We'll send out an announcement if you are signed up with us.

For now, you can try a few things on your end to help the video. First, update to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. You'll have to restart your computer to get the update to completely work.

Next, update your browser to the most recent version. You are probably using either Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Internet Explorer. All of them should guide you to an update page if you click HELP in your top toolbar menu.

If you are STILL having problems after trying these things, please send us a tech support email, and give as many details as you can about what is going wrong. Tell us the browser (and its version), as well as any other details you have. We'll do the best we can to figure it out!

What if there's a glitch in the checkout process?

We've got some detectives on this problem right now, and we think it's happening mostly with people who are using older versions of Internet Explorer. If you can update to Internet Explorer 8, that would rock. Then, if you are still having problems, drop us a line.
