Interesting question and the answer is yes and no in my opinion. If you are a fast low kms runner steping up to the Marathon then you should not only not run the day before but keep off your feet as much as posible. Forget about a run the day before I was worried about the warm up before a Marathon taking the distance to 43 or 44 kms! However some of my running friends are ultra marathon runners often doing 100km to 200km+ races. They also run marathons and a run the day before is nothing to them, they probably run from home to the start of a marathon! Of course if you a between these then you might not be sure.

Hi Howard,

There are lots of complicated reasons why the structure is set up the way it is. If you really want to have an in-depth discussion about it, you can email me your phone number, and I'll explain, but it's too much to write here. You should probably just buy one song at a time if 30 days isn't enough for more songs. Just use screenshots if you need to print the materials. Our licensors won't currently allow printing, but if that changes, we'll adjust the charts accordingly. I suggest you think of the time limit as a motivating force to get you to practice more- like a gym membership or something like that.

Your input is appreciate in any case. I hope you decide to stick around even if the setup does not meet your ideal vision. Jennifer

I like your site. I don't think 30 days is long enough if you have 2-3 or more songs to learn. It would also be nice if you could print the strumming patterns along with the song lyrics andchords. Also there is a lot of info to learn in the technicque library in a 30 day period. This is just a suggestion.

                                                                      THANK YOU,

Oh, and I should also say- there's a good reason why we don't do downloads. It's because we are trying (it's taking FOREVER, but still a high priority) to add both loop and slow-down features to the lessons. This means you'd have to download a full-on software program if you wanted a downloaded lesson- more than just a .mov or Quicktime file. Then, you'd only be able to do it from your regular computer. It's simply not feasible for us to spend the money on switching from a web-based service to a software package like that. And, with this current system, you don't have to wait an hour for a download- you can just start learning right away. Even the smallest lesson files are 200mb, and that's quite a download project for many computers. I hope this makes sense. Jennifer

I love your work and this site but it was not till I punched in easy guitar songs into Google that I found this site and I have been on many guitar sites looking for this type of site so you will need to get this great site out there...maybe get something up on Youtube to draw them in?

I love a song that has the following:
# Sounds nearly like the original version
# has a combo of techniques like strumming and lead/picking (sounds great and makes you look better than you really are at playing the guitar
# Avoids those damn difficuly barre chords (I am 50 and way over trying to do them now)
# A lesson that assumes nothing and explains every detail

Will you ever sell off individual lessons that do not require being on-line and that maybe we could download?

Anyway...a very big thanks as I have been trying to get a list of songs I can play when people come over and now I have finally found a site that can help me.

Cheers from Australia

Love the site. I think it's great for beginning guitarist like me. I like your upcoming feature enhancements for looping and practice at 50% and 75%/

I just think you need to find some simple more modern songs to attract additional. Don't get me wrong I'm a baby boomer and love these old songs, but I think you might want to consider some more contemporary music as well.

Regards and keep up the good work!
