Just want to let you know that we’ve recently added another Beatles favorite to our song library. “When I’m Sixty-Four” was released in 1967 on Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, although it had been written by Paul McCartney almost a decade before, when he was a lad of 16. To hear the song, check out this video clip from the Beatles’ movie Yellow Submarine.
“When I’m Sixty-Four” is a great sing-along tune with a simple 4/4 rhythm. It’s got a bunch of chord changes, but nothing that our step-by-step video lesson and a bit of practice won’t help you master. Trust us – it won’t take years to learn this delightful ditty.
Here’s hoping we all stay young at heart!
