Ijust discovered this site a few days ago and purchased the lesson for Yesterday. I have purchased lessons from various sites and some are very good, so it means alot when i say that this was probably the best one I have seen. Very thorough, lots of repetition and practice with the instructor and finally the song really does sound like it is supposed to. I have one two criticisms. One you have already responded to regarding why there is no printable tab. It is hard to keep switching back and forth to view the chords etc. Other legit sites do allow for printable tab, chords etc. My second criticism is that only having access to a song for 30 days is a problem for me in that I often work on several songs at the same time. I would even be willing to pay a little more if I could have access for more than a month. In any case, I will probably buy more song lessons and just copy the the stuff down. Keep up the good work and I hope you will consider my concerns. thanks.

Oh, and I should also say- there’s a good reason why we don’t do downloads. It’s because we are trying (it’s taking FOREVER, but still a high priority) to add both loop and slow-down features to the lessons. This means you’d have to download a full-on software program if you wanted a downloaded lesson- more than just a .mov or Quicktime file. Then, you’d only be able to do it from your regular computer. It’s simply not feasible for us to spend the money on switching from a web-based service to a software package like that. And, with this current system, you don’t have to wait an hour for a download- you can just start learning right away. Even the smallest lesson files are 200mb, and that’s quite a download project for many computers. I hope this makes sense. Jennifer

I love your work and this site but it was not till I punched in easy guitar songs into Google that I found this site and I have been on many guitar sites looking for this type of site so you will need to get this great site out there…maybe get something up on Youtube to draw them in?

I love a song that has the following:
# Sounds nearly like the original version
# has a combo of techniques like strumming and lead/picking (sounds great and makes you look better than you really are at playing the guitar
# Avoids those damn difficuly barre chords (I am 50 and way over trying to do them now)
# A lesson that assumes nothing and explains every detail

Will you ever sell off individual lessons that do not require being on-line and that maybe we could download?

Anyway…a very big thanks as I have been trying to get a list of songs I can play when people come over and now I have finally found a site that can help me.

Love the site. I think it’s great for beginning guitarist like me. I like your upcoming feature enhancements for looping and practice at 50% and 75%/

I just think you need to find some simple more modern songs to attract additional. Don’t get me wrong I’m a baby boomer and love these old songs, but I think you might want to consider some more contemporary music as well.
